Let kids receive the minds of ecological local farmers who work in harmony with nature in the "Harvest at Home" challenge! Children will identify where certain one fruits or vegetables grow (underground, on the ground, on a tree or underwater), identify two fruits or vegetables that grow in each season and locally, name different plant parts that we eat, name three things vegetables and fruits need in order to grow and understand the reasons for buying local, in-season, fresh foods.
